10/19/2021 11:59:40 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Oct 19: BJP UT General Secretary (org.) Ashok Kaul along with former minister and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated the works for renovation of community hall in Ward 9 Ustad Mohalla.
They were also accompanied by Councillor Ward 9 Suneet Raina, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, Councillor Ward 8 Dr Akshay Sharma, President JK Megh Sabha Narinder Kumar and many others including local residents and political activists of the area. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 20 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Kaul said that the hall has been serving as the important spot for the local population from all the communities for small functions. He also said that the hall also serves as the moment saver especially for the needy population, which is provided with the space almost free of cost or the minimum charges. He stated that the hall will be furnished with tiles, fall ceiling, fans and lights for the smooth conduct of small congregations. Sat Sharma dedicated the hall to the efforts of public, saying that the prime focus of Narendra Modi led government is to provide the opportunity to live with dignity to every single person living in the most neglected sections of society which is still untouched with prosperity for decades. Thus “Antodaya” forms the core ideology and the basics of working strategy of the BJP, he asserted.
Suneet Raina asked the local population to also contribute to the social cause by keeping a check on the quality of the work being done. He asked them to report any type of irregularity witnessed in the commissioning of the present work. He also urged them to devote time for social works for helping the poor and the needy.
Locals and the Sabha members thanked BJP for his consideration for the noble cause. They said that the step will act as a boon for the local population for the small social and family gatherings.
