| General Manager, Northern Railway conducts inspection of Ghaziabad railway station | | |

JAMMU, Oct 22: Ashutosh Gangal, General Manager, Northern Railway along with Principal Head of Departments, Divisional Railway Manager, Delhi Division and senior officers of Northern Railway conducted an inspection of the railway station, electric loco shed and EMU car shed at Ghaziabad.
At the station the GM inspected the platforms and took stock of the amenities present there. He then went around the Punjab yard goods shed and saw the city side circulating area. He discussed with the railway officials regarding the Dhobi Ghat and NHAI ROB launching plans. He also visited the Railway Health Unit in the vicinity.
The GM conducted a detailed inspection of the electric loco Shed at Ghaziabad. At the shed he was given a presentation apprising him of the different works going on at the facility. He observed the maintenance procedures of the locomotives and visited the different shops there. The GM inspected the various ongoing maintenance activities of EMU's.
Addressing the employees, he motivated them to work in a systematic and disciplined manner to ensure quality work and timely turning out of locomotives after maintenance. He advised them to maintain high quality standards and not to compromise with the set safety guidelines during the various maintenance activities.
