KISHTWAR, Nov 6: Arrangements for annual Urs Sharief of Hazrat Shah Mohammad Asrar-Ud-Din (RA) being held on November 9 were finalized at a meeting of district officers held here under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Mr. Surdershan Sharma.
It was stated that adequate arrangements of transport from different parts of the district have been made by the traffic department and 15 additional buses shall be pressed into service during the Urs. Besides other arrangements like medicare, power and water supply, availability of ration and firewood, setting up of control room, sanitation in and around the town have been made.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC asked the line departments to ensure all possible facilities for the devotees and work in close coordination for the purpose. |
