| Shiv Sena protests, Seeks CBI Probe in Anara's case | | | Jammu, July 10 : Demanding transfer of Anara Gupta case to Central Bureau of Investigation, Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir took out a protest demonstration, here today.
Ashok Gupta, General Secretary Shiv Sena said that protest demonstration was organised to pressurize the government for taking up the said case and entrusting it to CBI for investigation so that the culprits are punished under law on the same analogy as has been done in Kashmir.
The procession passed through the Kachi Chawni, Parade Ground, Brahmin Sabha Raj Tilak Road, Purani Mandi, Old Hospital road, and concluded at city chowk Jammu.
Gupta, in his address, demanded handing over the sex-racket case of Anara Gupta to CBI, so that the actual culprits responsible in the racket so that the culprits can be exposed and punished under law. "Some higher officials and prominent citizens and politicians are involved directly in the case", he alleged adding "The enquiry commission established by the government was taking very lenient steps so much so it tantamount to hushing of the case.
He urged the Chief Minister of the state and the Hon'ble Justice of the J&K State for entrusting the case of Anara Gupta to CBI for complete investigations. |
