| JURSEA burn effigy of Dir. colleges | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: The Jammu University Research scholars executive association (JURSEA) hold protest rally against the Director College, Dr. N.D Wani in front of university gate who failed to provide infrastructure to newly created colleges in the region. As per press release, president JURSEA, Vikas Sharma while addressing the protestors said, students are facing problems as subject opted have no combination and added nearly 90% colleges are without proper staff, while colleges in remote areas are without any staff, beside classes fo different subjects are taught in a single room. He said no science subjects are taught in various colleges. Students of Hiranagar colleges is being run in a local higher secondary school with art subjects, while students demands that science subjects he also taught. Research scholar Munish Gandgora on the occasion said that neglect behaviour of the concerned authorities towards the subjects like statistics, Buddhist studies, Punjabi and Psychology is not upto the mark. He demanded that these subjects should be introduced at the college level in the newly opened college of J&K. He warned the concerned authorities if no action is not take immediately JURSEA will launch indefinite agitation. Among those who present in the protest includes Kamal Deep Singh, Vikram Singh, Maninder Singh, Davinder Singh, Satvinder Singh, Joginder, Rigzin Chosdup, Parish Shastri, Nadim and Uday Singh.
