Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha celebrates Accession day

Jammu, Oct 26: Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha Jammu & Kashmir Raj Tak Bhawan Purani Mandi Jammu organized a Grand function at Teachers Bhawan, Gandhi Nagar Jammu to Celebrate Villay Diwas(Accession Day) on 26th of October 2021. It was historical decision taken by Maharaja Hari Singh Ji on 26” of October 1947.
The signing of instrument of Accession by Maharaja Hari Singh with Government of India on 26” of October 1947, the state of Jammu and Kashmir become Part And Parcel of India like other Princely States of India.
Bishan Singh Jamwal, President of Sabha in his address welcomed all the dignitaries present on this auspicious day and said, to commemorate and celebrate this Accession Day Viltry Diwas)in broad manner by the residents of Jammu and Kashmir,
The Present Govt. of India had declared Gazetted Holiday on 26 of October each year in view of wisdom of Maharaja Hart Singh . The inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir are rejoicing this day with great enthusiasm and thank full to Union Government of India.
The history is evident that Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji was the founder of Jammu & Kashmir State and crowned to throne on 16 of March,1846, The Dogra rule was established in the entire State which lasted up to 1947.
The last Ruler of the State was Maharaja HariSingh Ji who ruled the state from the period 1926 to 1947A.D. Harl Singh ♬was not only king but believed in Democracy and took numerous welfare steps for the betterment of the people of the State.
Large number of residents of State irrespective of caste and creed. offered floral tributes to Maharaja Hari Singh Ji followed by cultural Program.
The speakers highlighted the achievements of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji who used to say that he had no religion his religion is Justice
The Prominent Persons were honoured by the Sabha members with Presentation of Dogra Turban and momentos.
The Children performing cultural Programmes on the occasion were also presented momentos. The Chief guest shri RAKESH ji I/c north zone Dharam jagran, in his address
highlighted the achievements of Maharaja Hari Singh and termed the Villay Diwas(Accession Day) a great wisdom of Maharaja. Shri Ashok Koul gen sec. (ORG) bjp also participated in the function.
Kr. Naryan Singh, Ex- President of the Sabha in his address thanked all the dignitaries for sparing their valuable time for the Cause of this auspicious occasion. He highlighted the achievements of Maharaja Hari Singh ji and advised that all of us must follow the foot prints of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.
The proceedings of the Sabha were conducted by Mangleshwar Singh Slathia, Chairman Youth Wing of the Sabha. The president of Brahman sabha, Mahajan sabha, sanatan dharm sabha, Gurkha sabha, chamber of industry and commerce,vishav hindu sabha, mahant rameshwaram dass ji purani mandi Jammu were present in the function.
