| Course on vertical interaction commences at SKPA Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: A three days course on vertical interaction course (VIC) on "Terrorism and Counter Insurgency" commenced at Sher-I-Kashnir Police Academy (SKPA). Fifteen officers of the rank of DySP to SSP from all over J&K are participating in the course. The course is aimed to aware the participants about burning issues of national security, challenges and threats emanating from our hostile neighbourhood, re-emergence of Taliban- Dimensions in J&K and India. The growing menace through cyber terrorism, bio warfare, chemical and nuclear weapon and their implications were discussed. Mohammad Suleman Choudhary- IPS, DIG Udhampur Reasi range inaugurated the course. In his inaugural address Choudhary comprehensively summed up different facts of terrorism for the last three decades.
The course is being coordinated by Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor) SKPAU assisted by Sunmati Gupta, DySP AD (Admn.). |
