DDC Suresh starts work of black topping on Dhanna-Ambo Shaani road

AKHNOOR, Oct 28: Member District Development Council, Suresh Sharma started the work of laying asphalt on the road of Dhanna-Ambo Shaani in Panchayat Dhanna-Jalada of Chowki Choura in Akhnoor Assembly constituency.
The work will be completed at a cost of Rs 20 lakhs.
Speaking on the occasion, Suresh Sahrma said that it was a long pending demand of the people which is going to be fulfilled now.
"It is my duty to fulfill every promise made to you and in the coming days every village will be connected with pucca roads, no village will be deprived of Mohalla road. The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Center is taking big decisions for the interests of Jammu and Kashmir. For this I express my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi ji, due to whose leadership all this is possible," he said.
Apart from this, Suresh Sharma said,"In the coming days many roads will be started in this area, which will provide great convenience to the people and big construction works will be done for the benefit of the people".
Sarpanchs, Panchs and local people thanked Suresh Sharma and said that all this has been possible due to his tireless efforts.
On this occasion, BJP Mandal Pradhan Capt BD Sharma, Sarpanch Harbans Lal, Panch Baba Kali, Panch Anju Sharma, Panch Sham Lal, Bittu Ram, ex-Sarpanch Ramesh Lal, Yuva Morcha Mandal Pradhan Rakesh Kumar, SC Morcha Mandal Pradhan Bishan Das, Sham Lal, Tara Chand, Thoru Ram, Hansraj, Ramesh Chander, dignitaries and engineers of the department were also present.
