JAMMU, Nov 2: Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit celebrated the historic victory of Shiv Sena candidate Kalaben Mohanlal Delkar from Dadra Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha seat at its party office here today.
Full of enthusiasm and festive fervour the Shiv Sainiks led by the party State President Manish Sahni danced to the drum beats besides distributing sweets and celebrating Diwali on the victory of their aforesaid candidate.
Addressing the Shiv Sainiks and media persons, Sahni congratulated the entire team including Delkar that worked relentlessly in Dadra & Nagar Haveli constituency for her historic victory.
Sahni said that Delkar is the first woman MP from Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
He said that her victory is not a matter of pride for the Shiv Sena party alone but for the entire women fraternity for whom she will be an inspiration and role model. |
