| 98.3 Mirchi conducts Mirchi shopping carnival, Season 3 | | |

Jammu, Nov 3: Festive season along with being the most anticipated season of the year is also everybody’s favourite shopping season. To give the citizens of Jammu, a unique shopping experience and a purchase that was worth their penny, 98.3 Mirchi had initiated an extravagant and mass shopping festival for the people of Jammu city. Mirchi shopping carnival had set sail on the 25th September and ran extensively till 3rd of November, the day of the grand finale.
98.3 Mirchi joined hands with some of the renowned brands and retailers of Jammu city. From accessories to apparels, and furniture to electronics and healthcare, the shopping carnival made sure that customers had an immense variety of products to shop and ensured that buyers reaped up on the incredible benefits and savings that the brands and outlets offered. In an innovative approach of creating value of every purchase among the customers and to make the shopping experience more exciting, 98.3 Mirchi also conducted a lucky draw contest at all the shopping venues in which customers were offered a chance to win some exciting prizes and gifts on the day of the finale which included a brand new Hyundai Santro as the grand prize, among others. To engage more people in the carnival, 98.3 Mirchi has been running various on-air and on-ground events which include special promotions and other fun activities that were hosted by Mirchi Shwetima, and Mirchi Simran at Mirchi hotspots at the venues of the participating brands and outlets.
The grand finale of the event ‘HDFC Bank presents AM Hyundai’s Mirchi Shopping Carnival, Powered by Hatil Furniture’ was conducted on the 3rd of November at Jammu Haat, which started with the host of the grand finale, Mirchi Simran welcoming the crowd with applauses and filling the crowd in on the activities of the event so far. To add more fun to the day, the host also engaged the folks in some fun filled conversations, activities and games and presented the crowd with exciting gift hampers on the spot. Audience were left in splits with the stand-up comedy act performed by Mirchi’s Rohit Sharma who made sure that everyone from children to adults, laughed their heart out. The grand finale also featured a rocking and captivating performance by Jammu’s very own band ‘The Last note’ who made one and all present, sing and groove to the music. Actor & Youtuber Sanyam Pandoh also graced the occasion and interacted with audience. On the finale of the event, Mr. Sumit Kakkar, Cluster Head 98.3 Mirchi also extended thanks to all the shoppers as well as the participating outlets and presented them with a token of gratification for their support and contribution towards making the event an exciting affair for the citizens of Jammu to look forward to. And talked about how he along with the Team Mirchi always plans to give the people of Jammu, experiences to remember and making sure that everyone in the Jammuregion has something exciting to look up to.
Present at the event was the esteemed chief guest Shri Mukesh singh, IPS ADGP JKP. The chief guest’s welcome was followed by a speech in which Shri Mukesh singh lauded 98.3 Mirchi’s initiative and efforts towards making the Mirchi shopping carnival an event, that in its kitty had something to offer to every shopper and participant and also stressed upon the fact that the Jammu needs more similar events so that people always have something positive and engaging to look up to. Dignitaries Present at the venue were Mr. Jatinder Mahajan, Chairman AM Group, Mr. Sanjay Mahajan MD AM Group, Mr. Ankur Mahajan, Mr. Akshay Mahajan & Mr Tarun Malhotra of the AM Group. The occasion was graced by Mr Sachin Mahajan, Senior VP of HDFC Bank Ltd.

The winner of the grand finale was announced in the presence of chief guest and other dignitaries by Jammu Di Kudi Mirchi Shwetima RJ & Programming Head, 98.3 Mirchi and presented with the Grand prize – all new Hyundai SANTRO. The winner namely Kunal. Mirchi shopping carnival came to an end with Mirchi Shwetima extending a vote of thanks to everyone present and acknowledging their contribution towards making the Mirchi shopping carnival a success.
98.3 Mirchi actively spearheaded this initiative of enhancing this one of a kind mass shopping experience for the people of Jammu. This attempt of spreading joy and cheer among the citizens of Jammu was 98.3 Mirchi’s yet another positive drive to bring cheer among the people in this festive atmosphere. The merry and jovial atmosphere that Mirchi shopping carnival has brought in remain in coherence with the brand’s motto “Har entertainment mein Mirchi hai” |
