| Women Sports Festival held at Bhaderwah | | |

Shabnam emerged as fastest women of the town when she clinched first place in 100 meters race in the Women Sports Festival of Block Bhaderwah organized by J&K State Sports Council here today.
Second place in 100 meters race went to Arti while Nitu finished third. In 200 meters event, Ganesha was first while Rabia Tabassum and Salma remained second and third respectively.
In Shot Put, Sonika Manhas bagged first position, followed by Sharda Devi, second and Ikra, third.
The Kho-Kho trophy went to Government Girls High School Nichla Thara, who beat Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah in the final. In Kabaddi, Girls Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah clinched the title beating Bhartiya Vidya Mandir.
Zonal Physical Officer, Zakir Hussain was chief guest in the sports meet, who distributed prizes among the winners of different sports events.
