| Fogging operation intensified in Reasi to control vector-borne diseases, dengue | | | Early Times Report
REASI, Nov 7: The Municipal authorities today conducted a massive fogging operation in Reasi town to control the spread of vector borne diseases.
Executive Officer Thakar Dass said that the MC has decided to carry out fogging during the evening as the Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes become active during that time.
The MC had launched a special drive to create awareness about the dengue and other vector borne diseases among people by door to door distribution of pamphlets and other related material.
Besides, two shoulder-mounted machines are being used for fogging in parks, villages and settlements where big machines cannot move. These are also being used for fogging the houses of active dengue patients and their neighborhood. |
