| 1st Taekwondo state referee seminar inaugurated at Kargil | | |

KARGIL, Nov 7: 1st Ladakh state referee seminar in Taekwondo for new referees of Ladakh was inaugurated by District Youth Service and Sports Officer Kargil, Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma at Indoor Stadium Kargil. 11 black belt holders are participating in the referee seminar.
The seminar is conducted by Ladakh Taekwondo Association under the overall supervision of technical expert and international referee Zaheer Abass Khan 4th Dan Black Belt. Hussain while interacting with the players said that Taekwondo is the only olympic game which has brought laurels for Ladakh at national and international level and players have even represented India at international junior level championships. He said that Taekwondo has flourished under the leadership of Gulzar Hussain Munshi in the last 22 years in Ladakh and the team efforts has resulted dozens of international and national players. He congratulated Ladakh Taekwondo Association for organizing the seminar.
Munshi thanked President India Taekwondo Namdev Shirgaonkar for giving permission to conduct the 1st Ladakh UT Taekwondo Championship and said that the President has assured to be present on the Final of the State Championship. He hoped that the new referee team will show excellent judgment during the upcoming event and will excel at all level. |
