JAMMU, Nov 7: FICCI FLO JKL celebrated the occasion of Bhai Dooj with their brothers in uniform at the Octroi Post, Suchetgarh on the India-Pakistan Border, in Jammu.
Amongst a powerful prayer performed at the Raghunath ji temple Kr Ritu Singh was accompanied by her Sr. Vice Chairperson Varuna Anand, Executive Secretary Ritika Trehan, members Meenakshi Kilam, Neha Mahajan, Winnie Singh, Aditi Chopra, Richa Isshar, Ankita Bansal & Gesu Gandotra. The rituals were performed beautifully by applying traditional Tikka and offering of sweets, with a special prayer for the longevity and safety of the jawans and officers. A small hamper of goodies was presented to each officer as a token of love by all the members of FICCI FLO JKL. The atmosphere was euphoric amidst chanting, singing and songs specially dedicated for the occasion. This was followed by an enthralling retreat ceremony which left many with teary eyes full of sentiment and patriotism. Kr. Ritu Singh was warmly received as the chief guest by Ajay Suryavansi, Commandant 36 Bn BSF, PH Zou Second-in-Command, Pradeep Malik, Deputy Commandant, Jaswant Singh, Assistant Commandant Sandeep Kumar. |
