AJKLTF delegation calls on CEO Doda, submits memorandum

DODA, Nov 10: A delegation of AJKLTF unit Doda led by its district President Mohan Singh under the guidance of State Vice President Neeraj Sharma called on CEO Doda in his office.
The delegation comprising of senior members of AJKLTF Doda Purnima Kotwal District President Mahila Wing, Balwant Singh Sr Vice President and others briefed CEO Doda, Prahlad about the difficulties being faced by the teaching community across the district particularly in rural areas.
In this regard a memorandum was submitted wherein several demands were highlighted including immediate drawl of NPS salary, timely disposal of post facto permission cases, adjustment of erstwhile RRETs on reciprocal/mutual basis in a time bound manner and release of GPF installments of NPS subscribers etc were included.
The meeting lasted for an hour in which DEPO Doda, Ayaz Ahmed Mughal also participated and after a detailed discussion Chief Education Officer assured to take up the local issues like release of GPF share of NPS subscribers with concerned Zonal Education Officers in the forthcoming meeting for early redressal and with regard to the adjustment of Grade-ll and Grade-lll he assured to take up the issue with higher authorities. He further clarified that there is a shortage of around 75% in NPS budget and so the salary of NPS employees is delayed.
Regarding the adjustment/Transfer of RRETs,he suggested to submit the suitable proposals strictly on reciprocal basis from one zone to other zone within the district.
The delegation congratulated him for the successful and transparent ATD 2021.
The other prominent members who attended the meeting were Koushal Kumar Sr Vice President, Jugal Kishore, Sandeep Bandral ZP Bhagwah, Angat Manhas ZP Bhalla, Rajat Chouhan Convenor Bhaderwah, Surinder ZP Bhatyas, Sunil Kumar ZP Gundna, Panjaboo Ram, Neema, Avtar, Sat Lal and others.
