| GDC Thannamandi organizes quiz competition, lecture on online financial transactions | | |

RAJOURI, Nov 10: An online national level quiz competition on "Solid State Physics" was organized by the Department of Physics GDC Thannamndi on the eve of World Science Day for Peace and Development today under "Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav". More than 150 participants from various Universities and colleges participated. In the quiz Purushottam Kumar from Patna University secured the top position, Farida Akhter from GDC Thannamandi secured 2nd Position while Charmy Mehta from The Maharaja University of Borada bagged third position.
The event was organized by Prof Ajaz Nazir, HOD Physics and Prof Raheela Mushtaq was event Coordinator under the guidance of Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi Principal of the College.
Meanwhile, the college also organized an extension lecture on 'Safety in Online Financial Transactions' to commemorate "Cyber Jaagrookta Diwas".
