| Manyal kicks off election campaign | | | Early Times Report Samba, Nov 8- National Conference will usher an epoch of unprecedented development in Samba if voted to power, said Somnath Manyal National Conference leader and candidate for Samba Assembly segment today on the first day of his election campaign in the constituency. In his address to the party workers Manyal said that National Conference is the only secular party and if voted to power will open up new avenues of employment for the unemployed and offer better opportunities of growth and development of Samba, he said. Senior NC leader Surjeet Singh Slathia, who also joined Manyal on the occasion, said political parties like PDP, Congress and the BJP have no agenda for the development of the state except to raise hollow slogans to befool the people during the elections. He cautioned people of the sinister designs of the political parties who during the elections make bundle of promises and later blame their collation partners of non-cooperation, in reality these political parties play politic of deceit. Bimla Luthra, Provincial President Women Wing, registering the huge presence of women folk at the gathering, said National Conference has always worked for the development of the women particularly those belonging to weaker section of the society and shall continue to do so in the future as well. She called upon the women folk to caste their valuable vote in favour of party's candidate and victory of Som Nath Manyal form Samba Assembly Constituency.
