| Construction work of toilets started at Subhash Stadium Udhampur | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Nov 12: Councillor Priti Khajuria today kick started the construction work of toilets in the Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose Sports Stadium in Udhampur.
Priti Khajuria said that Neta ji Subhash Chander Bose Sports Stadium is the main and only Stadium of the city where activities related to sports are organized but still there is lack of development works in the Stadium due to which players of Udhampur district are facing many problems.
For the last three years many works have been started but remain unfinished. Due to which both the games and the players are affected, she said.
The Councillor said that when Principal Secretary Sports Alok visited the Stadium, she had given a memorandum in which she had put forth the main problems related to the stadium, out of which one construction work has started today and soon many more works will be start in the coming days.
Khajuria said that the cost of construction of toilets in the stadium is about Rs 10 lakh, due to which now the players will get a big relief as well as those who come to the sports stadium for morning and evening walks. |
