| NC felicitates newly nominated OBC wing functionaries | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 13: National Conference today felicitated the newly nominated functionaries of the OBC Wing at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan with senior leaders expressing the hope that they will dedicate themselves for the betterment of weaker sections in a missionary spirit and endeavour for getting their miseries addressed.
Additional General Secretary Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal said the new responsibility to the dedicated leaders calls for their proactive approach in reaching out to the people and further galvanizing the party at the grass roots level so that it meets the challenges and expectations of the marginalized segments of the society. Dr Kamaal recalled the revolutionary measures initiated by the National Conference for welfare of the people, especially weaker sections, peasants, women and down-trodden. The party is committed to work for class less society based on social justice and equality, he added. Congratulating the office bearers, Provincial President Rattan Lal Gupta lauded the huge contribution of the cadre, including functionaries and grass-roots level workers in their different capacities, in making National Conference a vibrant and pro-poor political party that has along served the masses in all the regions and sub-regions. |
