DODA, Nov 13: As a part of Azadi Ka Aut Mahotsav and to achieve the objective of Pan-Indian outreach campaign, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bhaderwah today conducted an awareness programme under the supervision of Chairman DLSA Bhaderwah Varinder Singh Bhan (Principal District & Sessions judge) here at Town Hall Doda.
Secretary DLSA Bhaderwah Muddasir Faroq, Chairman TLSA Doda Prem Sagar (CJM), ACD Doda Dr RK Bharti and officers of other departments, apart from entitled beneficiaries were present.
The dignitaries spoke about the legal services Act, aim, objectives and importance of legal services day. Later, beneficiaries were given the legal benefits by the heads of different departments.
The other activities held during the program included awareness on eat right challenges, Aids and other welfare schemes.
Certificates of various schemes including Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY & SEHAT, Agriculture schemes, employment schemes, social welfare schemes, E- Shram etc were also distributed among the beneficiaries. The programme was also attended by the Public prosecutor, senior citizens, para legal volunteers. |
