| Azad chairs Cabinet meeting, asks Ministers to oversee progress of all works | | |
Srinagar, September 13- Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad today asked the Ministers to oversee the progress of various development works launched in the state in all sectors adding that winter is fast approaching and working season in the temperate and cold regions has now been reduced to two or three months only. Presiding over a Cabinet meeting here today, the Chief Minister emphasized the need of keeping eye on every aspect of development and ensuring that no work gets delayed on any count. He hoped that all the Cabinet Minister during his official visit to USA and Belgium, would monitor the development works in their respective departments and ensure pace on works gets imputes. He said special attention has to be paid towards the works under execution in far-flung and hilly and remote areas. He also stressed the need for building adequate stocks of essentials and construction material in these areas right from now so that no inconvenience is caused on account of this. He asked the Ministers to ensure that administration remains geared up and the approvals to the works continue to be given within the fixed time frame adhering to the schedules strictly. He said it has also to be ensured that no work gets hampered or delayed for want of administrative approval. Mr. Azad asked the Ministers to remain in touch with him during his visit to abroad and brief about the progress of development in all the sectors that is in full swing in the entire state at present. |
