| Policeman injured in Sgr militant attack | | |

Srinagar, Nov 14: A policeman was injured in a brief exchange of fire with militants at Jamalat area of Nawakadal in down Srinagar Sunday evening.
Police said, on a tip off a police party raided a suspected hideout in Jamalata area of old Srinagar.
Soon the police party was about to storm the hideout, militants hiding there opened fire and in the exchange of fire one police cop was injured’
The injured cop as identified as SgCt Mohammad Maqbool Personnel Security Guard (PSO) of Superintendent of Police North who had received injured in his neck.
The injured cop was shifted to hospital for treatment, the police said.
