| Employees express anguish over delay | | 6th Pay Commission report | | EARLY TIME REPORT JAMMU, Nov 9: The Jammu Kashmir Government Employees Welfare Federation have expressed serious anguishness over the state governments dilly delaying tactics in implementation of 6th Pay Commission report in the state, which has already been released by centre government along with various state governments. Addressing the members of the federation, its president Uttam Chand Sharma along with Girdhari Lal Chanda said on November 15 seminar will also be held along with the general strike. They said prices of essential commodities are touching new heights, but not attention is being paid by the government to check it. He said seminar will take view of further course of action to force the state government to concede the demands of state employees. The meeting also appealed upon the state employees to stand under the banner J&K state govt employees welfare federation and to fight for the genuine demands of the employees and also refrain from the nefarious designs of disruptive forces hell bent upon to create politics of opportunism in employees ranks. The need of hour is to build just and genuine trade union culture in the state for which this organization stands to whole heartedly. |
