JAMMU, Nov 18: Investiture Ceremony was held at Jodhamal Public School to felicitate its newly elected Prefect Council, for the session 2021-22.The chief guest, Lieutenant Colonel Vijay Barala and his wife along with school’s trustee, Nandan Kuthiala, Director, Arati Kuthiala, Principal, Dr Deep Khare, Vice Principal, Shefali Sanwal and the parents of the Prefect Council members were graciously escorted into the hall by the NCC candidates.
The NCC cadets of the schools displayed their skills and event commenced with a mellifluous welcome song sung by the school choir.
Thereafter, Khushi Bhardwaj introduced the Prefect Council members- Aarushi Gupta (Head Girl), Mian Mohammad Raza (Head Boy), Srishti Manawa (Deputy Head Girl), Dhruv Gandhi (Deputy Head Boy), Gunveen Kour and Soham Gupta (Academic Prefects), Anahita Anand and Shaurya Sangra (CCA Prefects), Saanch Anand and Saksham Verma (Sports Prefect), Arshdeep Kaur and Mian Mohammad Raza (Eco Prefects), Manya Sharma (Discipline Prefect); followed by the house prefects, Ravish Fatima for Challenge House, Manya Sharma and Dakshesh Sharma for Enterprise House, Jahnvi Sharma and Shivain Goel for Invention House, Vanshika Jamwal and Saksham Verma for Discovery House.
The Principal of the School, Dr Deep Khare read the charter of duty and responsibility. The Prefect Council took the oath and pledged to accept and uphold the responsibilities and duties mentioned in the Charter.
The chief guest felicitated the Prefect members with sashes and badges, along with the Principal, Vice Principal, Sports head Ganguly, Junior School CCA Coordinator, Deepali. The House prefects were felicitated by their House Masters-Nirmaljeet Singh, Ashish Maharaj, Vaneet Singh, and Raghunandan Singh. |
