| Nagrota victim of neglect: Ghulam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 10: Ghulam Ali Engineer, State General Secretary JKNPP and candidate from Nagrota constituency today alleged that due to official apathy things are going from bad to worst in this remote and unattended constituency for the last so many years despite heavy allocations from the government.
Conducting an extensive tour of several villages of this constituency to garner support for him, Ali regretted that despite tall claims of development, nothing was visible on the ground as a result of which people have distanced themselves from the administration. He alleged that several departments have become defunct as the staff hardly bothers to attend their duties.
He said that during his visit to Dansal hospital ‘he was astonished to known that technical staff of the aforesaid hospital has not been provided by the health authorities and the patients had to go to Jammu for a minor medical check up. He said though funds have been provided for the development of the area but regretted that some influential people have siphoned these for their petty gains and demanded an inquiry. |
