| Scholars hail NC’s vision document | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 10: The Rural Students Association University of Jammu (JURSA) in a meeting has hailed the recently released-vision document of National Conference. In a statement issued by association President and research scholar Kuldeep Sharma, has expressed gratitude to NC leadership Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah for drafting a comprehensive education and employment policy for the youth of the state. Association also welcomed the party’s proposed plan of creating an autonomous Employment Facilitating Agency (EFA) in place of the government controlled directorate of employment and stipend of Rs. 3500 to be given to doctors Sharma said, unemployment is the biggest challenge facing the state today and it is heartening to note that tackling this problem has been given top priority in the NC-vision document by chalking out an employment and education policy for the next 15 years, the release said. JURSA has also appreciated the party’s proposed policy for empowerment of women in the state. |
