| Employment to be NC's priority: Jan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT POONCH, Nov 10: Employment to the unemployed and development of youth in all spheres of life shall be the priority of National Conference after coming to power, said Aijaz Jan, National Conference candidate from Poonch Assembly constituency while addressing series of public meetings at various places here today. He said National Conference is committed to provide employment to one person from each family and moreover unemployed youth shall be provided with stipend till they get employment. The Congress-PDP coalition government, he said, had altogether ignored the youth of this constituency. "Instead of providing solace to the unemployed youth the Congress –PDP coalition government framed a rider on the qualification bar for appointments to Class IV and Police Constables, which he said is unjust, unfortunate and has demoralized the youth of the state". "I assure you that NC after coming to power will frame a special policy for recruitment of youth from our remote and far flung area in the police department and the qualification bar for appointment of Constables in Police department shall be middle pass", he assured adding that moreover the qualification bar for recruitment to Class IV category shall also be middle pass. He urged the people to come forward and strengthen the hands of National Conference and its leadership. |
