EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 10: Responding to the sentiments of the Kashmiri's Pandits, who are living an exiled life for the last nearly two decades due to the outbreak of militancy, the BJP today announced candidature of six Kashmiri Pandits, including two women candidates, to contest the forthcoming assembly elections from Kashmir valley. Central Election Committee of the party finalized the names today. Those contesting elections include Prof Sain Dass from Kathua, Durga Dass from Hiranagar, Satwant Kour Dogra from Samba, Hiralal Chatta from Habbakadal, Parikshat Koul, from Amrikadal, Sanjay Kachroo from Sonawar, Sweety Koul, from Shangus, Sheela Koul from Devsar and Jawahar Lal Pandita from Tral. |
