| Pratima emerge best athlete in Women Sports | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11: Organised by the J&K State Sports Council, Women Sports Festival for Akhnoor Block held at Play Field Akhnoor wherein 140 participants compete in three events of kho-kho, kabaddi and athletics.
In kabaddi, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Akhnoor defeated Government Girls High School Sumil in the final. The kho-kho trophy went to Chander Bagha High School, who beat Government Girls Higher Secondary School.
Pratima Sharma of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Akhnoor was declared best athlete of the tournament.
Principal of Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor gave away the prizes. The Sports Festival was organized under the supervision of Manager M A Stadium, Rajan Sharma while the competitions were officiated by Raman Gupta (PET), Vikas Mangotra, Santosh Kumari (PEM), Sher Singh and Jasbir Singh. |
