Srinagar, Dec 1: A traffic policeman was injured in a suspected militant attack in Srinagar’s old city on Wednesday evening, officials said.
They said a traffic police man, identified as Mohammad Abdullah, was fired upon near Gani Memorial Stadium in the old city.
“He was rushed to a nearby hospital,” officials added.
The areas where the incident was reported has been cordoned off by the forces to nab the attacker.
Senior security officials have rushed to the area. |
