EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 11: The visit to ‘Harminder Sahib’ (Golden temple) holiest place to Sikh religion by the King and Queen of Belgium has been hailed widely by the Sikh community. In a press release the international Sikh Awareness Front (INSAF) in a meeting held at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Nanak Nagar said, that the visit to holy place by the royal couple will realize the sentiments of Sikhs in their country and hoped that they will take care of Sikh sentiments living in their country. They further appealed them to take stern action against those officials of Belgium Govt who had disrupted the religious function on Gurta Gaddi Diwas being performed by the Sikh residents of Belgium at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Singh Sabha at Vilvoorde, Belgium and arrested a number of Sikh devotees forcibly during the mid of Ardas. Those who were present in the meeting were Gurvinder Singh Micky, Sandeep Singh, Anoop Singh Babloo, D.S Kahlon, Inder Pal Singh, Harkirat Singh, Gurpreet Singh Raju, Maninder Singh Kaka, Capt. Parvinder Singh, Balbir Singh Billu, Simranjit Singh Pappu, Jaswatn Singh Soodan, Amarjit Singh and Pritam Singh Jathedar. |
