Employees hope early redress of issues

JAMMU, Nov 11: Expressing satisfaction over the positive attitude of the Governor N N Vohra towards the problems of the employees, Jammu and Kashmir Employees Joint Action Committees of Kashmir and Jammu, in a joint meeting here today, hoped that the government shall concede the genuine demands of the employees in the best interest of cordial relations between the government and the employees to avoid the unwarranted confrontation.
The meeting in voice stressed upon the administration to implement the 6th pay commission recommendation in toto, besides enhancement of retirement age, regularization of retrenched class IV employees of excise department, regularization of adhoc, consolidated and contractual workers without any further loss of time,
Lauding the role of speakers of the Joint Coordination Committee, which met the state Governor here yesterday, the meeting assured JCM that any decision taken by it shall be implemented throughout the state to safeguard the respect and dignity of the employee’s fraternity.
