| Manhas says contesting for aspirations for Nagrota people | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11: Balbir Singh Manhas today said that complying with the aspiration of people of Nagrota he had decided to contest election as an independent candidate.
Declaring this at a press conference here today, Manhas said that Nagrota constituency having huge diversity with regards to its socio-economic and geographical factors, has been relegated to the background by all the pervious representatives who, he alleged, have miserably failed to address even basis problems of the people.
Nagrota constituency with its borders touching Akhnoor, Reasi, Udhampur and Samba has diversified problems like scarcity of drinking water and irrigation facilities, lack of educational facilities.
Manhas said that if he elected to assembly, he will work for overall development of Nagrota as he has been doing it previously. He strive for industrialization of the area to get more employment opportunities apart form improving basic day-to-day needs of common people.
He appealed to the electorate of the Nagrota constituency to support and vote for him for their victory and development of constituency. |
