| Bhung destroyed on 3,000 kanals | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11: As a part of its drive against illegal cultivation of Bhung, the officials of the State Excise Department and Crime Branch Kashmir along with Police and Revenue department officials destroyed the Bhung over about 3,000 kanals of land in Pulwama, Anantnag and Ganderbal districts.
The cultivators of Bhung have been warned to stop cultivation of Bhung otherwise stern action under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, 1958 shall be initiated against them.
The people have been asked to provide information about cultivation of Bhung and possession of Charas or illicit liquor on phone No. 9419114676 of Excise and Taxation Officer Excise Kashmir and 9419000304 of S.P. Crime Kashmir. |
