JAMMU, Nov 11: A massive impressive rally in connection with the celebration of National education day along with the birth anniversary of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad’s birth was taken out by the students of the university here today. The rally was also joined by the professors and staff of the university in large number.
Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Dean Students Welfare while addressing the gathering appealed all education institutions to celebrate the day in a befitting manner by organizing various activities like seminars, symposia, essay writing, elocution competitions etc.
The ceremony was attended by the faculty members officers, staff and students of the University. Among others Prof. Lokesh Verma, Director, Physical Education, Prof. N.K Tripathi, Presidents, Jammu University Teachers Association, Dr. J.S Tara, Dr. Vijay Atri, Kulbhushan Thakur, Gurpal Singh, Surinder Singh Bhalla and Balwant Singh and members of the students cultural council were also present. |
