| Govt Girls School, KV organizes celebrates education day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 11: Kendriya Vidyalaya Gandhi Nagar and Govt Girls higher secondary school Miran Sahib celebrated birth anniversary of late, Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of the country with great enthusiasms today.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of Girls H/S School, Miran Sahib, Sureshta Devi highlighted the work done by late Azad in improving the standard of education in the country. School authorities on the occasion organized a symposium on Azad.
Who spoke on the occasion were lectures’ Sheikh Kashif, Rachna Tomar, Shalini Raina, Nirmala Thakur, Yash Pal, Kuldeep Sharma and Dharam Pal.
Principal KV, Gandhi Nagar Dr. Chitra Mishra in her address paid glowing tributes to Azad for raising the issues related to National Education system which today is the foundation of education. On the occasion a debate on ‘Assessment of the teacher for student’ was conducted. |
