| Bhim Singh campaigns in Leh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT LEH, Nov 11: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of JKNPP who air-dashed to Leh this morning, addressed series of public meetings at Choglamsar and other places to garner support for his party candidate Mohammed Ramzan, advocate, who is also President of District Leh. Bhim Singh. The party activists organized several election rallies and appealed the people to vote for Ramzan, who have been advocating their cause at different levels. Addressing a well attended public rally, Prof. Singh assured drinking water for every house, electricity around the clock, up-gradation of local roads. He declared that Panthers Party shall fight for opening of old Silk Road between Leh and Lahasa, Kargil and Askardu. He congratulated the people of Leh for strengthening communal harmony and rejecting all forms of violence thus strengthening the National integration. Ramzan, the first Muslim candidate put up by any party in 60 years, declared that he shall serve the people of Ladakh for their development, unity and give first priority to the unemployed youth in the desert region.
