| Coalition brought miseries: Jagjeevan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT REASI, Nov 12: "The six years of the coalition rule brought only miseries to the people of the state which is unfortunate and the former elected representative from the constituency ignored the general plight of the masses of the constituency", said Jagjeevan Lal, National Conference candidate from Reasi Assembly constituency while addressing series of public meetings in remote areas of the constituency today. He questioned the hollow slogans given on the name of development of the constituency by the previously elected representative of the constituency. He said National Conference had never made false promise or commitment which could not be fulfilled and assured that after coming to power the NC will open new avenues of employment for the unemployed youth besides launching several developmental schemes in the area. On this occasion a large number of party workers from Congress and BJP resigned and joined National Conference. Jagjeevan Lal welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and called upon them to work unitedly and strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. Prominent among them, who joined the party, included Laxman Dass, Ch. Nazir, Suram Chand, Baldev Raj and Deep Raj. |
