Polling parties’ airlifted to far off places

EARLY TIMES REPORT
LEH, Nov 12: Polling parties for four polling stations Lingshed, Fotoksar, Yolchung and Yaraks of Trans-Singhe-la area left today by Helicopters. The polling parties for the remaining two polling stations Dipling and Skyumpata will also be airlifted tomorrow.
At the same time, polling materials for all the 56 Polling Stations of 47-Nubra Assembly Segment have been issued today to the polling parties. The Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for Nobra segment and far off polling stations of Leh Assembly segment will also issued tomorrow early morning and the polling parties will move to their destinations tomorrow soon after they get EVMs.
The Polling parties for all the polling station of Markha valley shall move tomorrow morning. Besides, the polling parties for all the polling stations of Durbuk block and far flung areas of Nyoma block will also move tomorrow morning from Leh.
Refresher training to the polling staff for operating EVMs were conducted at Degree College by the master trainers.
