| Adolescence education workshop for teachers, conclude | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 12: A three day advocacy programme and nodal teachers training workshop sponsored by central board of secondary education for principal and teachers of about 25 schools of J&K state, was conducted at K.C Public School, here. To train the nodal teachers to further spread adolescence programme to other schools and thus channelise the potential of youth and inspire them to choose the right path for the progress and prosperity of the country. As per press release teachers were not only trained to deal wit the complex problems of adolescence but also about the life skills and values to be inculcated in youths so that they are able to relate their education with the real life situations and face the challenges of life with confidence, learn to take risk and lead the nation to greater heights. Priya from Jaipur and Kusum Kapoor from Ahmedabad the resource persons and Chand Trehan, the Coordinator and observer for the workshop proved to be the great source of inspiration for the trainees. On the concluding day Principal of K.C Public School, Zorawar Singh thanked participants and teachers for attending the programme and making it a great success. |
