| Dogra School celebrates birthday of Guru Nanak Dev | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 12: Dogra Higher secondary school, Shastri Nagar, celebrated the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev with religious fervour and gaiety under the supervision of Principal Gambhir Dev Singh Charak. On the occasion students threw light on the life of Guru Nanak Dev.
Principal Charka highlighted the preaching of the great spiritual guru who always stood for love, peace and equality among the human beings and prayed that Guru’s preaching’s be emulated for bringing peace and harm only in the society.
Vice Principal Nimal Koul extended the vote of thanks on the occasion she said that guru spread the message for the welfare of human being. She appreciated the efforts of students and staff to organize the function.
In the end, special ARDAS was presented by class 8th student Mandeep Singh and Prashada was distributed among the students, staff and the audience present on the function. |
