398 pilgrims leave for Haj

SRINAGAR, Nov 12: Two flights carrying 398 Hajjis from valley on Wednesday left for Jeddah from Srinagar Airport here, sources said.
With this, the total number of Hajjis left for Jeddah since the departure of pilgrims started from here on October 30 has risen to 2726.
An estimated 8,000 pilgrims from the state would perform Hajj-2008 this year in the holy cities of Makkah and Madina after nearly central government agreed upon additional 1500 pilgrims from valley.
