Women participated piously in different events. They also got interested in sports,” Iqbal said. However, some of the schools with talented students did not participate due to the ongoing exam secession. Expressing his displeasure Iqbal said that the teachers play down sports as mere wastage of time. “Students were interested to participate in the festival but they were barred by their teachers. Teachers don’t encourage them for sports.” “It has been the norm of almost all the school to charge games fund from the students when students never play any game,” Iqbal added. |
