| Dalgate B in enters semis of Champions Trophy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Nov 12: Dalgate B stormed into semifinal of the ongoing Champions Trophy outplaying BCC XI by 150 runs here today.
Dalgate B was in full command of the match from the word go. Batting first Dalgate B made 220 runs in the allotted 25 over. Khalid and Suhail smashed 57 runs each which helped the team post a decent total. Javaid also helped in the total with his brilliant 45 runs.
Dalgate B bundled out BCC XI on just 70 runs. The massive win pushed Dalgate B into the semi-final of the Championship.
Earlier, in another match, played yesterday, CD XI defeated Dal B by three wickets. Batting first Dal B scored 130 runs and they lost their all wickets in the process. In reply, CD XI reached the target in 22 overs. Feroz with 38 runs and two wickets was declared the man of the match. Championship Trophy is being organized by Dalgate Sports Center at TRC Ground. The first semifinal of the Championship will be played tomorrow between CD XI and Lucky Boys. The Championship Trophy is being organised by Dalgate Sports Centre. |
