| Dr Abdullah strolls around Ragunath Bazar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 13- Known for his charisma, chief patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah today strolled around Ragunath Bazar, one of the busiest markets of Jammu, winter capital of the state.
Accompanied by some top party leaders, Dr Farooq reportedly drew straight to the Ragunath Bazar this morning. Much to the surprise of the shopkeepers and commuters the chief ministerial candidate of National Conference parked his vehicle and came out on the road.
If the insiders have to be believed Dr Abdullah had not even informed his security personnel about his unscheduled visit to the market.
"He interacted with the shopkeepers and passerby and exchanged pleasantries", one of the eyewitnesses said.
Dr Abdullah is known for taking motor-cycle rides on the roads and roaming around the busy markets despite being in ‘Z’ security cover. |
