Addressing a public meeting at Kuze area in Chushot Yogma, few kilometers from here, Khan said that his main focus was on growing unemployment and ensuring economic development of the area. "Ironically all the political parties who contested and won the elections from this constituency in the past have failed to come up to the expectations of the people", he said adding, "Crores of rupees were diverted for the development of the area but it seems that the money has gone to the pockets of ruling politicians and bureaucrats and everything remain unchanged on the ground". The NPP candidate gave a patient hearing to the locals and assured that all their genuine demands would be fulfilled if his party is voted to power. Cautioning people about the divisive politics being played by some political parties and leaders, Khan urged the people to remain vigilant against such forces who were created wedges among the people for their own vested interests. |
