| 5kg RDX recovered in Poonch | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 13: Major tragedy was averted with the timely detection of RDX and other explosives in Poonch district.
Acting on specific information, police and Rashtriya Rifle troops launched a search operation in Loran area of Poonch district on Wednesday evening. During the search forces recovered five kg of RDX and six black tubes filled with explosives from a hideout.
In another incident, the troops busted another militant hideout in Sanjiot area of the same district and recovered one remote control IED circuit and 30 pencil cells. |
