| KP’s hurt on Hari Parbat reports | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 13: Taking strong exception to the newspaper reports depicting the ancient Chakreshwar Hari Parbat temple’ ‘as the den of illegal activities’ Kashmiri Pandits at Faridabad today said that publication of such a malicious report has hurt the religious sentiments of KPs since the temple is replica of the ancient Hari Parbat temple in Srinagar. Terribly annoyed at the way in which some sections of the media have shown their association of Chakreshwar Hari Parbat Temple in Anangpur, Faridabad with the arrested saint, a community members said that this seer was introduced to us as the Shankracharya of the Sarvignya Peeth at Sharda. Our association with the arrested saint is nothing beyond religious and spiritual denomination. It is extremely unfair of some sections of the press to call the temple as the den of illegal activities. It has hurt religious sentiments of the Kashmiri Pandits since the temple is a replica of the ancient 'Hari Parbat' temple in Srinagar. Rashneek Kher, Executive member of the Samaj said, "We request the media to act responsibly and not to slur the Kashmiri Pandit community or the sacred shrine." |
