Community Mobilization Programme on NEP concluded in Zone Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 21: A Community Mobilization Programme was organized at Govt Girls Higher Secondary School, Canal Road, Jammu under the supervision and guidance of ZEO Jammu Haneef Mohd Hackla. Chief Education Officer Jammu, Suraj Singh Rathore was the chief guest on the occasion. JMC Councillors Pramod Kapahi (Ward No 14), Sucha Singh (Ward No 31) and Mohinder Kumar (Ward No 61) attended the programme.
Principal Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Canal Road, Parveen Raina, Principal Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Nowabad, Sandra Malhotra and Principal Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Nowabad, Poonam Langeh, SMC/SMDC, general public and parents were also present.
ZEO Jammu Haneef Mohd Hackla made the gathering aware about the various schemes launched by the GOI under the banner of SAMAGRA SHIKSHA. While speaking on the occasion, Kuldeep Singh Bandral said that in self-reliance and sustainable programme, bringing people together, raising people's awareness, assisting in the delivery of resources and services and strengthening community population are the four steps of community mobilization.
Chief Education Officer, Suraj Singh Rathore explained about the different activities being held by the Directorate of School Education ,Jammu which focuses on the counseling of the students for the solution of the problems faced by them.
Principals Sandra Malhotra, Poonam Langeh and ZEPO Joginder Singh also spoke on the occasion.
JMC Councillors of different wards while presenting their views appreciated the different schemes launched for the welfare of SC, ST, OBC, EWS and Physically disabled students.
They also praised the role of teachers who are working relentlessly for the betterment of the students and worked continuously during these tough times of Covid-19.
Subash Jamwal, Jaipal Sharma, Rakesh Sharma were also the part of the programme. Parveen Raina, Principal GGHS School, Canal Road, presented the vote of thanks.
