| Advocates join NC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 13: A large number of prominent advocates from Jammu led by Anil Bhan, Advocate, Arun Tandon, Advocate, Winkle Gupta, Advocate, Abhinay, Advocate, Arjun Chander, Advocate and Deepak Kumar, Advocate joined National Conference in support of Pardeep Bali, party's candidate from Jammu East Constituency in a meeting held here today at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu under the chairmanship of S. Gurdeep Singh Sassan, sr. NC leader and Th. Kashmira Singh, ex-MLC. Gurdeep Singh Sassan and Th. Kashmira Singh welcomed the advocates into the party fold and expressed hope that heir joining into the party will further strengthen the party and they called upon them to take the programme and polices of the party at every door step. Pardeep Bali, who was present on the occasion while addressing the meeting said that my party and the people of my constituency are my strengthen and I pledge to work for the upliftment and welfare of the people of my constituency. Mohd Ayub Malik, Block President Jammu East also called upon the Ward Presidents, and party workers to work unitedly for the victory of the party candidate. Meanwhile in another meeting held under the chairmanship of Jugal Mahajan, sr. NC leader a large number of youth from Jammu East Assembly constituency joined National Conference to extend support to Pardeep Bali. Addressing the meeting, Jugal Mahajan welcomed the new entrants into the party fold and called upon them to work united under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah and strengthen the hands of the party. He said he is very much impressed with the enthusiasm shown by these youths and hoped that they will work with the same enthusiasm for the party. He further said called upon the party workers to fan in their respective wards and take programme and polices of the party at every door step. The youth who joined the party were led by Sheikh Sarfraz, Umesh Khosla, Gagan Sethi, Anil Kumar and Amit Dutta. Among others who were present on the occasion and addressed the meeting included S. Peter, Om Bali, D.S. Chauhan, Advocate, Shamshad Begum, Krishan Lal Tak, Shyam Mehra and others. |
